Short tour description
Makhuntseti is the historical name for the villages of Zeda Makhuntseti and Kveda Makhuntseti, located in the Keda Municipality within the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. Today, the Makhuntseti community encompasses not only Zeda and Kveda Makhuntseti but also the villages of Kosofeli and Chalakhmela.
Location and Geography
Nestled in the picturesque gorge of the Adjaristskali River, the Makhuntseti community lies at an elevation of 220-300 meters above sea level. It is located approximately 12 kilometers from Daba Keda and 30 kilometers from Batumi, which is the nearest city and main railway station.
The community's location along the river and its proximity to Batumi make it a peaceful yet accessible destination for visitors exploring the beauty of the Adjara region.
